Cadence & Watts Terms and Conditions

In booking any ride or event organised by or on behalf of Cadence & Watts you are in agreement in accordance with Cadence & Watts Terms & Conditions for participation in the registered event. Failure to comply will result in you being excluded from any activity and forfeit any payments you may have made.

Before taking part in any ride or event you will be expected to fill out & sign our booking form.

1. This agreement will apply to any event or ride with us. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before booking any event from us. If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for ensuring all group members comply with these Terms.
2. We amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements. Every time you book an event with Cadence & Watts, please check these Terms to ensure you understand them; which will apply at that time.
3. The event in which you will be participating is challenging and requires a good level of fitness, strength and endurance and it is your responsibility to ensure that you are suitably prepared. You should check with your doctor that you are sufficiently fit, healthy and mobile to participate in the event.
4. All those who participate in activities and events organised by Cadence & Watts do so entirely at their own risk. Cadence & Watts has arranged the itineraries, accommodation, travel and food. In making these arrangements Cadence & Watts are acting as your agents and are unable to accept liability for any loss, personal injury, legal expenses or damage, however arising, or for cancellation of the event for any reason outside their control.
5. Every attempt will be made to ensure that your booked event takes place as scheduled. However, Cadence & Watts reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time and without notice where, in the discretion of Cadence & Watts, it is considered necessary. This may, without limitation, be due to: unsuitable conditions including prevailing weather conditions; unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, such as natural emergency, natural disaster, fire, bad weather, flight delays or other such events then we will advise you as soon as it is reasonable to do so. Your personal safety during the event is of fundamental importance to us.
6. Itineraries, schedules and accommodation may change and other alterations may occur which are beyond the control of Cadence & Watts, we reserve the right to make these changes. If a change is significant you will be advised as soon as possible.
7. Your registration fee is non-refundable and required in advance to confirm your booking and participate in your event. If you do not wish to take up your place for any reason, you must inform Cadence & Watts immediately.
8. The good reputation of Cadence & Watts is paramount. You have an obligation to participate in a safe and responsible manner, and that the health, safety and well being of others will be respected at all times and you must agree to act lawfully throughout the event.
9. You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during any event.
10. Cadence & Watts may at their discretion withdraw places on an event if they believe it is in the best interest of the applicant or of Cadence & Watts.
11. Dangerous or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. If you are part of a group; which causes a disturbance, the group will be treated as one and our staff have the right to remove the whole group from the relevant event and no refunds will be given.
12. Cadence & Watts will not accept liability for any other costs howsoever incurred by you or any other person in connection with your booking.
13. For overseas events you should take into account that medical and other facilities at your destination are likely to be inferior to those in the United Kingdom. Accordingly it is a compulsory term of travel that you take out travel insurance to cover any health or injury problems that arise and if necessary, to arrange for your repatriation to the U.K. You should also advise your insurer of any pre-existing medical conditions before travel. Failure to advise this may invalidate your insurance cover. Cadence & Watts reserves the right to refuse participation if the above is not complied with.
14. You will be advised of any passport, visa and compulsory health requirements to enable you to participate in your event. 15. If you are refused passage and/or entry/exit to or from the country any additional cost incurred are your responsibility.
16. If you withdraw from an event in circumstances where recovery of cancellation charges is indemnified under travel insurance, you hereby agree that you will co-operate in the recovery of these charges from the insurers. If the insurance company does not recognise your claim, you will be responsible for any cancellation charges levied on Cadence & Watts.
17. If you cancel your travel arrangements, then there will be no refund payable to you.
18. Cadence & Watts reserve the right to increase the price of your travel arrangements to allow for variations in transport costs, including the cost of fuel, taxes, or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes and airport fees and the exchange rate applicable to your travel arrangements. No price increase will be made within 30 days of your departure date.
19. Refunds will only be given at Cadence & Watts sole discretion. If you suffer an illness or injury which prevents participation in your booking written evidence of the illness or injury will be required.
20. You must agree to be bound by Cadence & Watts terms & conditions for your event. Your booking will be automatic acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
