I offer a complimentary consultation session to anyone who is considering personal training. The purpose of this initial consultation is to give me a better understanding of what you are looking to achieve with regards to your health & fitness. A SESSION EXPLAINED:

I provide a wide range of traditional and innovative training equipment for each session.

The exercises that make up your session are specifically chosen by me dependant on your current level of fitness. Your tailored personal programme is designed with the correct level of intensity to ensure that you train to your full potential and ultimately reach the goals that you set out to achieve.

For example: If one of your goals is to lose weight aka fat around your stomach then your nutrition plan will be devised to reflect this and your training sessions are likely to be focused on a combination of weight training and cardio. Big compound exercises and HIIT (high intensity interval training). This type of routine will strip away body fat and create a lean, slender, strong healthy body.

Each intense session is both progressive and fulfilling. I believe that it is important for your trainer to provide you with the expertise and motivational support needed to get you though each session… from start to finish.

Once your sessions are booked in the diary you’re already committed to achieving your goals…

NUTRITION:

A good diet is vital for good health. A healthy and varied diet will help you to maintain a healthy body weight, enhance general wellbeing and reduce the risk of a number of diseases including heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes and osteoporosis.

Have you heard of the phrase “you are what you eat”? It is estimated that the food you eat contributes to 70% of your overall body shape so it is vital to ensure that you have a healthy balanced diet in order for you to achieve the results that you desire. However, it is not just the type of food you put in your mouth that must be considered, there are a number of other factors that are also important, such as food portions, timings etc. This is why I believe in providing you with continual guidance throughout your journey with me.

I will help you develop a healthy, balanced diet that you can maintain. I will show you ways to speed up your metabolism so that you not only lose weight but more importantly keep it off! There are many so called celebrity fad diets appearing in popular magazines that people try to copy but most of these are impossible to maintain. The way to achieve long term sustainable results is to follow a balanced diet that you can stick with.
Sounds simple doesn’t it? However, I recognise that although the concept of following a healthy, balanced diet might sound simple the reality is that there are a number of reasons why many people struggle. Stress, emotions and convenience as well as a real lack of nutritional understanding can often be contributing factors.

The better your nutrition the better your results…

RESULTS:

I fully appreciate that for most people the success of any training or fitness programme will ultimately be judged on its results. One of the key benefits of personal training is that it enables a specific programme to be constructed to target your personal goals and requirements rather than the impersonal ‘one size fits all’ approach adopted by the large health clubs.

There are a number of methods that I use to measure your results. Weight monitoring, blood pressure, body fat analysis, BMI and fitness testing are just some of the ways in which I can record your progress. I will ensure that you not only feel the benefits of your training but also see them too.
Most people who take part in exercise on their own have no real way of measuring their progress and this often leads to a real lack of results. By continually analysing your development we are able to constantly set new targets and objectives with you to ensure that you reach your goals successfully and achieve real tangible results.
